Test Prep: My comprehensive services do not include standardized test tutoring. I CAN help with test registration, selecting when to take the SAT and/or the ACT, general study strategies, and incorporating a study /test taking plan into our college application timeline.
Ethics: I do not complete applications or essays. I do this part of the work WITH families, not FOR families. I cannot guarantee admission into any one school.
Regarding MFT: I pursued a degree in marriage and family therapy to complement my degree in education and learn how to best serve high school students and their families. While my goal setting, communication methods, confidentiality, and coaching are informed by my therapy education, I am working as an educational consultant rather than a licensed therapist in this role. Should your family need mental health or family therapy services in this process, I will not act beyond the scope of an educational consultant and I will happily help you find an appropriate care provider.
